    "description_zh_hant": "臨濟護國禪寺是於日據時期，臨濟宗鎮南山護國寺之延伸，其山門、大雄寶殿皆為日本江戶時代佛寺之典型建築。臨濟護國禪寺創建於一九００年，於一九一一年落成，為日據初年日本僧人得庵玄秀禪師所建，當時他受第四任臺灣總督兒玉源太郎之邀來臺弘法佈教，臨濟宗為有別於曹洞宗的一支佛教宗派。護國禪寺依山傍水，附近基隆河蜿蜒流過，寺面積頗廣，格局宏整，原來包括山門、法堂、大雄寶殿及附屬方丈堂。至今大雄寶殿仍保存完好，全為木結構之歇山重簷式。山門建築屬於日本江戶時期風格。另外，寺前大砥石及寺後開山始祖墓、石雕佛像等亦具歷史文物價值。因為臨濟護國禪寺具有歷史、文化、藝術等價值，於1998依照文化資產保存法，將其訂定為直轄市定古蹟。(資料來源：臺北市政府文化局)",

    "description_en": "The temple dates from the Japanese era as an extension of the Linji school's Zhennanshan Huguo Temple, and its mountain gate and main hall are typical of Japanese Edo-period Buddhist temple architecture. It was founded in 1900 and completed in 1911 by the Japanese monk 得庵玄秀, who came to Taiwan early in the Japanese era at the invitation of the fourth Governor-General, Kodama Gentaro, to spread Buddhism. The Linji school is a Buddhist school distinct from the Caodong school. The temple sits between hills and water, with the Keelung River winding nearby. Its grounds are large and well laid out, and originally included the mountain gate, a Dharma hall, the main hall and an abbot's quarters. The main hall is still well preserved: an all-timber building with a double-eaved hip-and-gable roof. The mountain gate is in Japanese Edo-period style. The large whetstone in front of the temple, the founder's tomb behind it and the stone Buddhist statues are also of historical value. Because of its historical, cultural and artistic value, it was designated a municipal monument in 1998 under the Cultural Heritage Preservation Act.",
    "description_ko": "린지후궈찬쓰(臨濟護國禪寺)는 일본 통치 시기에 임제종 전난산 후궈쓰(鎮南山護國寺)의 분원으로 세워졌어요. 산문과 대웅보전은 일본 에도 시대 불교 사원의 전형적인 건축이에요. 1900년에 짓기 시작해 1911년에 완공했어요. 일본 통치 초기에 제4대 대만 총독 兒玉源太郎의 초청으로 대만에 와서 불법을 편 일본 승려 得庵玄秀가 세웠어요. 임제종은 조동종과 구별되는 불교 종파예요. 사원은 산과 물 사이에 자리 잡았고, 근처로 지룽강이 굽이쳐 흘러요. 경내가 넓고 배치가 반듯하며, 원래 산문, 법당, 대웅보전, 방장 거처가 있었어요. 대웅보전은 지금도 잘 보존돼 있고, 전체가 목조인 겹처마 팔작지붕 건물이에요. 산문은 일본 에도 시대 양식이에요. 사원 앞의 큰 숫돌, 뒤편의 개산조 묘, 돌로 새긴 불상도 역사적 가치가 있어요. 역사, 문화, 예술적 가치를 인정받아 1998년 문화자산보존법에 따라 직할시 지정 고적이 됐어요.",
    "description_ja": "臨済護国禅寺は日本統治時代に、臨済宗の鎮南山護國寺の延長として建てられたもので、山門と大雄寶殿は日本の江戸時代の仏教寺院の典型的な建築です。1900年に創建され、1911年に完成しました。建てたのは日本人の僧、得庵玄秀で、日本統治の初期に第4代台湾総督の兒玉源太郎に招かれて台湾に来て、仏教を広めました。臨済宗は曹洞宗とは異なる仏教の宗派です。寺は山と水に囲まれ、近くを基隆河が曲がりくねって流れています。境内は広く、配置も整っていて、もとは山門、法堂、大雄寶殿、方丈堂がありました。大雄寶殿は今もよく保存されていて、すべて木造の、重層の入母屋造りの建物です。山門は日本の江戸時代の様式です。寺の前の大きな砥石、寺の後ろにある開山の祖の墓、石の仏像なども歴史的な価値があります。歴史、文化、芸術の価値から、1998年に文化資産保存法に基づいて市定古跡に指定されました。",
