    "description_zh_hant": "臺北小巨蛋座落於松山區敦化北路和南京東路四段交叉口，前身為臺北市立棒球場。2000年底，臺北市政府拆除老舊棒球場，於原址興建15,000席多功能體育館(Arena)。臺北小巨蛋是臺北市運動設施整體規劃興建計畫中重要的室內場館設施，建築體分為主場館及副館，主場館為一座地下2層、地上5層之鋼骨鋼筋混凝土建築物，總樓層地板面積約90,900平方公尺。主場地內部長76公尺、寬41.5公尺，伸縮式活動座椅完全伸展時，場地仍達60公尺×29.5公尺，場地中央亦可視需要全面結冰，成為標準的室內冰上競賽運動場館。場地使用可依需要彈性多元變化，因此得以爭取辦理國際單項運動總會之一級賽事活動，也是國內外藝文團體競相租用辦理展演的熱門場地。小巨蛋冰上樂園是目前臺灣符合國際標準、規模最大的冰場，場地大小為61公尺×30公尺，冰面滑冰總人數可達400人，看臺可容納800個席位。平時提供一般遊客滑冰休閒娛樂外，也是國內滑冰好手及培訓國家選手之專業場地。本場館為一擁有冬季奧運級標準冰面品質之場地，曾榮獲「國際滑冰總會ISU」以及「亞洲滑冰總會ASU」執行委員、會長等專家認可。場內專業設備包括：國際標準冰上曲棍球圍板、短道競速防撞墊、專業洗冰車、冰球比賽高空防護網、標準冰球球門兩座及冰面上教學擋牆等。開館迄今舉辦過許多國際及國內重要冰上競技賽會。此外，臺北小巨蛋場館內規劃約2,000餘坪之附屬商業設施，包含知名連鎖餐飲企業、便利商店、健身中心、親子休閒館、保健用品等各式特色店家進駐，滿足民眾舒適的餐飲購物及娛樂需求。",

    "description_en": "Standing at the junction of Dunhua North Road and Section 4 of Nanjing East Road in Songshan District, the arena occupies the site of the former Taipei Municipal Baseball Stadium. At the end of 2000 the Taipei City Government demolished the old stadium and built a 15,000-seat multi-purpose arena on the site. It is a key indoor venue in the city's overall plan for sports facilities. The building has a main arena and an annex. The main arena is a steel and reinforced-concrete structure with two basement levels and five storeys above ground, and a total floor area of about 90,900 square metres. The main floor is 76 metres long and 41.5 metres wide; with the retractable seating fully extended, it still measures 60 by 29.5 metres. The centre of the floor can be fully frozen when needed to create a standard indoor ice rink for competitions. Because the floor can be adapted in many ways, the arena can bid for top-level events of international sports federations, and it is also hired by Taiwanese and foreign arts groups for performances. The arena's ice rink meets international standards and measures 61 by 30 metres. Up to 400 skaters can use the ice, and the stands seat 800. It is open to the public for recreational skating and is also a professional training venue for Taiwan's top skaters and national team athletes. The ice is of Winter Olympic standard and has been recognised by experts including executive committee members and presidents of the International Skating Union (ISU) and the Asian Skating Union (ASU). Equipment includes international-standard ice hockey boards, short-track safety padding, an ice resurfacer, overhead protective netting for ice hockey, two standard hockey goals and teaching barriers on the ice. Since opening it has hosted many major international and domestic ice competitions. The arena also has more than 2,000 ping (about 6,600 square metres) of commercial space, with chain restaurants, convenience stores, a gym, a family leisure centre and health product shops.",
