About
Among the old lanes of Wanhua District is Bopiliao, an old street area that keeps the look of a Qing-dynasty street, with red brick walls, arched arcades and carved window frames. The Bopiliao Historic Block is beside Longshan Temple, at Kangding Road, Guangzhou Street and Kunming Street.

It preserves a fairly complete Qing street layout and traditional Qing shophouses, and its buildings record the growth of Monga's streets. The Taipei City Local Heritage Education Centre uses the block to promote local heritage education, linking school education with community culture through themed exhibitions, special exhibitions on the history of Bopiliao and educational activities. The block also promotes film culture, events and education, and hosts arts performances.
