Jingmei Night Market

Known for traditional snacks, Jingmei Night Market has all its stalls grouped within a square area for ease of management. Jingmei Public Market on the other side is also part of the night market, selling clothes, CDs, hardware and household goods as well as food, with the calls of vendors adding to the atmosphere. Food here includes Jingmei Shanghai pan-fried buns (shengjian bao), A Lang salty crispy chicken, the Zheng family's charcoal grill, angelica duck and sesame oil chicken eaten as winter tonics, quail eggs and blanched squid, Jingmei douhua (tofu pudding) and Okinawa mochi.
