In Shilin District, Taipei Children's Amusement Park is a family theme park for the Taipei area. It has large rides, play areas and a range of family activities, with areas planned for different age groups, themed shows, a seasonal water park and dining facilities. The park uses the EasyCard and iPASS systems: with a card you can enter, go on rides and pay at designated shops, and top-up machines are available. It is linked to the nearby science education centre and astronomy museum. The Ferris wheel is the park's most visible feature, with views over the park and the Shilin area, and it is lit up at dusk. There are nursing rooms, step-free routes and seating, so visitors with pushchairs and older people can move around easily. Food and shopping options include a food court, a convenience store and a souvenir shop.
