Jut Art Museum

Founded in 2016, Jut Art Museum marked 30 years of JUT's construction company (忠泰建設) and 10 years of its foundation, a milestone in their work promoting architectural culture in Taiwan. The museum aims to be a new kind of think tank, catalyst and platform that takes on corporate social responsibility and responds to the needs of 21st-century society. Continuing the foundation's belief in 'A better tomorrow', it is Taiwan's first art museum to focus on 'the future' and 'the city'. The museum's site in Taipei was also where the foundation held its first Museum of Tomorrow exhibition. After ten years of exhibitions moving around the city, the foundation returned to where it started to put down roots as 'a museum at the centre of city and life'. The museum explores the future across disciplines, with programmes focused on three areas: future issues, urban architecture and contemporary art. The interior was designed by the Japanese designer Jun Aoki and the visual identity by Atsuki Kikuchi, the first museum in Taiwan on which the two have worked together.
