Meiti Wharf

Outside Floodgate No. 16 on the Keelung River, in front of the Meiti evacuation gate, Meiti Wharf is one of the piers of the Blue Highway river network and is laid out like Dajia Wharf. It is used mainly by Blue Highway passenger boats. The wharf extends the Blue Highway to the Neihu area, turning the Keelung River into a water tourism route linked with the 美麗華 shopping area. Nearby are the Palace Museum, the Martyrs' Shrine and a Ferris wheel, as well as shopping centres and hypermarkets around Neihu Science Park. Meiti Riverside Park, where the wharf is, has wide views of the 101 building and of planes taking off and landing at Songshan Airport, and is a place for residents to walk or cycle by the river.
