About
With the aim of bringing the arts into everyday life, Taipei Performing Arts Center sets out to be a theatre for everyone. Under its motto 'Play Different Together', it focuses on shared enjoyment of the arts, training talent and diverse innovation, as a creative base for Taiwanese and international arts.

Its theatres follow a '3+1' design: the Blue Box, the Globe Playhouse and the Grand Theater, which can run separately or be linked into a multi-purpose 'Super Theater'. There are also several rehearsal rooms and outdoor plaza spaces. The Public Loop is a circular visitor route running through the whole building. It reveals hidden corners of the stages and the paths used by performers and crew, and includes an open viewing platform overlooking the Shilin area. A VR experience made by an award-winning director moves participants through the venue from multiple viewpoints, giving a closer look at its spatial design. After a show, visitors can have coffee in the café or browse the open-plan bookshop.
