About

The museum is in the Nanhai Academy area of Taipei, near the National Museum of History, the National Taiwan Arts Education Centre and the Taipei Botanical Garden. Each year it holds several retrospectives of Yuyu Yang's work and one special exhibition on exchanges with other artists, with occasional invited exhibitions in cooperation with national museums in Taiwan and abroad.

It also runs talks on the arts and humanities, cultural events and workshops for young artists. To bring art into everyday life, the museum turns the artist's original designs into practical everyday items and gifts. There is also a multipurpose arts space, available for hire, for reading, resting, coffee and talks. The main gallery on the third floor holds three Yuyu Yang exhibitions a year. In the basement, the Yuyu Yang Story Gallery has a permanent exhibition laid out as a historical walkway, showing records and documents of his work and an outline of his life.
