Dajia Riverside Park

Lying between Zhongshan Bridge and Dazhi Bridge in Zhongshan District, the park is an urban green space developed by the city government after the Keelung River was straightened. It is large, with a wide expanse of lawn at the entrance, and the Miramar Ferris wheel can be seen in the distance. The park has five main play areas and a bike rental area, each with its own features. The twin zip line area has single-point and seat-style zip lines for children. The inclusive sandpit area has slides, climbing equipment, a sandpit and a shaded area where parents can rest. The hill slide area has eight terrazzo slides, climbing nets and ropes. The swings and octopus-and-dolphin landscape area has five themed swings, a large octopus landscape feature, balance beams and ball-shaped hiding places. The children's water play area has spray features shaped like large rings, columns and giant flowers. There is also a large fountain whose central jet reaches up to 75 metres, varying in height and force to create a sense of rhythm. The park also has a sports area with basketball, tennis, badminton and gateball courts, and a cycle path several kilometres long around the park, with bikes for hire. Large events are held here from time to time.
