About

The temple is dedicated to Tianshang Shengmu (Mazu) and is the earliest Mazu temple in northern Taiwan. Besides worshipping Mazu and the other deities, visitors can see many historic relics and temple architecture. It stands where the last ridges of Mt Datun and Mt Guanyin meet, beside the confluence of the Tamsui and Keelung rivers.
