In September 2020, Taipei's second rainbow street marking, the Rainbow Starting Line, was created in the east of the city, on the Citizens' Square in front of Taipei City Hall. The marking runs from City Hall towards the City Council and is laid out like a running track with a line drawn across it, like the starting line of a race towards happiness.
