Siping Yangguang Shopping District

The Siping Yangguang shopping district is like a night market in some ways and different in others; the biggest difference is that it is open in the daytime. Along the pedestrian street are open-air cafés, occasional street performers and four-coloured cloth flags hanging overhead. Shopkeepers can talk to foreign visitors in simple English and Japanese, and the nearby hotel 六福客棧 has set up a service centre for foreign visitors offering information and guided tours.
