Keelung River Riverside Cycle Path

Entering the riverside cycle path through the Lin'antai floodwall gate on the left bank, you can see information boards on the origins of the Keelung River and the story of its regulation, so people can learn about the river's long history while exercising. Dajia Riverside Park is on land reclaimed by filling the riverbed and is mostly green lawns. Its western part has been developed as an urban park, the most distinctive part being the waterside park between Zhongshan Bridge and Dazhi Bridge. Its landmark is the Xiwang Fountain (希望之泉, 'spring of hope'), a fan-shaped water curtain up to 25 storeys high, with water shows and coloured lights at night, and the red building of the 圓山飯店 in the background. Entering through the Meiti floodwall gate on the right bank, you can see pictures on the embankment wall telling the history of the Keelung River. At night along the river you can see the Ferris wheel and the lights of the Neihu Technology Park.
