About
The trail is in the Maokong area of Taipei and was once one of the important baojia paths; it is now a hiking spot. It is gentle and open, suitable for walkers of all ages.

Along both sides is typical farming countryside, with features such as an acacia charcoal kiln, tea gardens and a granary that reflect Taiwan's traditional farming, history and culture. Flowers change with the seasons: lupins in spring, cosmos in summer and sunflowers in autumn. Teahouses beside the trail serve Maokong high-mountain tea and are a place to rest, drink tea and enjoy the surrounding scenery.
